Salt & Sill’s restaurant boasts one of the very best locations on the west coast. Seating on the pier and windows with ocean view offer an almost unrealistic proximity to the ocean – an ever-changing scenery all year round. Here you can enjoy seafood and our Chef’s specials “Sillplankan” and “Klädesholmaren”, both of which are great contributors to the restaurant’s international recognition and have highlighted the herring as food experience. Since our launch in 1999, our menu has always been characterised by local produce from the coast and ocean.
We hope you will have a wonderful dining experience at our archipelago bistro, whether you choose herring or something else on our menu – and we have added just enough salt to bring out the very best flavours.
During lunch in the summer we have drop in between. 12:00-15:00
In the evening, it is possible to book a table between 17:30-18:15 then it´s drop in.
We accept pre-bookings of 8 people or more.
