Salt & Sills restaurant has one of the west coast’s absolute best locations. Jetty serving and windows with sea views provide an almost unreal proximity to the sea – a changing spectacle during the year. Here you enjoy fish, shellfish and the specialties ‘Sillplankan’ and “Klädesholmaren” which have contributed greatly to the archipelago restaurant’s international recognition and lift herring as a food experience. Ever since the start in 1999, the menu has been strongly influenced by local ingredients from the coast and sea.

From all of Fru S.’s travels, she has gathered inspiration. That inspiration has grown over the years and is now compiled in its own restaurant. In the place where the interest in food really took off so many years ago. Salt & Sill has over the years managed the food tradition on Klädesholmen while Fru S.’s inspiration and food joy has grown. Now all influencers from the food trips gather, mix with traditional Holmen dishes and create a fantastic mix.
With Fru S, it should feel like coming home. Everything from the decor to the food and the hospitality creates the feeling of a dinner party with a friend.
