CAN I PAY WITH CASH AT THE HOTEL?

No, Salt & Sill is a cashless hotel and restaurant. It is possible to pay with the following means of payment; Bank card, Credit card, Swish or Direct deposit on our Bankgiro.

 

IS THERE PARKING AT THE HOTEL?

There is a small parking lot right by the pier leading out to Salt & Sill. This is a free public parking lot, which is more crowded during the summer season. If possible, we recommend carpooling or using public transportation, see Västtrafik’s website or their app for the current timetable. There are also parking spaces at Mossholmen, a short walk from the hotel.

IS THERE A CHARGING STATION FOR THE CAR?

There is a charging station a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, at Mossholmens Marina. This is a public charging station which unfortunately cannot be booked in advance.

CAN YOU BRING YOUR DOG TO SALT & SILL?

You can book special dog rooms in selected standard rooms (with or without sea view) and in our apartment “Lilla Salt”. When booking a dog room, a dog bed and water bowl are included.

Pre-booking is required – contact us at info@saltosill.se or select the “dog room” option when booking.

Dogs in the restaurant
We are happy to welcome guests who want to bring their dog. For us, it is important that both two-legged and four-legged people feel safe and comfortable with us.
Where dogs are allowed
Dogs are very welcome in the upper part of the restaurant. Our staff will be happy to show you to a suitable table, and we have water bowls to borrow if needed.
We ask that dogs are kept:
– On a leash
– Close to their owner
– Under supervision, so that all guests can enjoy their stay
Occasions when dogs are not allowed
In order for everyone to have the best experience possible, we can unfortunately not accept dogs indoors during the following servings:
– Christmas table
– Easter buffet
– Midsummer buffet

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are of course always welcome – also at these services.

IS THE HOTEL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

All our hotel rooms on the ground floor are easily accessible by wheelchair. We also have a ramp to Restaurant Salt & Sill and an elevator to Sjöboden. Read more about the Tourist Board’s accessibility inventory of Salt & Sill HERE

CAN CHILDREN GO ON THE SAUNA BOAT?

Yes, children are welcome – with some time restrictions depending on age:

  • Children up to 12 years old are welcome between 10.00 and 15.00.
  • Children aged 13 and over are welcome throughout the sauna boat’s opening hours.

Please note that the sauna boat is not manned.
Children are only allowed on board in the company of an adult, and the responsibility for the children lies entirely with the accompanying adult.

WHEN DO YOU CHECK IN AND OUT AT SALT & SILL?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out can be done until 11:00. If you wish to check out later, there is an additional service for that and then you can stay until 13.00, please contact us for this.

Boat

CAN I TAKE THE BOAT TO SALT & SILL?

We offer a berth at our pier so you can enjoy a wonderful full day with an overnight stay with us, book here. If you come as a guest to the restaurant, it is fine to dock along the outdoor seating at the restaurant. There is also a marina within walking distance from us, which you can read more about Here.
