If you want to get a total experience of sea and rocks, a visit to cozy Dyrön is a must.
The hiking trail is a total of 5 km long, but you can choose a shorter distance. It is easy to find the way because there are yellow painted posts at short intervals. Along the trail there are rest areas with benches and tables, so please bring a coffee. The trail is in mountainous terrain, but there are stairs, ledges and railings in the difficult places. However, healthy legs and shoes suitable for mountain walks are required. It can be slippery in the mountains and on wet, sometimes slippery, pressure impregnated boards.
You can get to and from Dyrön easily by passenger ferry, only a 5-minute drive from Salt & Sill.
You can find information and a map about the Dyröleden here.
You either choose to check in with us and visit Dyrön on day 2. Alternatively, leave your luggage and bring a packed lunch with you to check in after your visit to Dyrön.
You pay for the ferry ticket on board the ferry or alternatively in the machine next to the ferry stop.
If you want to hike more on Tjörn, we recommend Tjörnehuvud, Vetteberget, Säbyleden, Häron, Sundsby and Bö Tjörn. You can read more here.
Tips for further hiking trails can be found here. * The 3-course menu may be replaced by a sharing menu or similar during the period June-August.
