What personal data do we save?
Name, phone number, address and email are the only data we save for private individuals. If the booking from the guest has been received via the company the person works for, the company name and in most cases also the address of the company which is also linked to the person is also saved.
In some cases, we buy address registers from other companies such as CM Partner in order to reach a wider customer group. These addresses are exclusively for people at companies who have in turn approved that their addresses are used for that purpose. We always make sure that our providers of address registers comply with the new rules for GDPR.
As long as the guest remains in our register, previous bookings also remain and are linked to the guest. By law, we must retain this information in order to be able to report what and to whom we have sold a product. Salt&Sill for no statistics linked to guests or the like.
Why do we save the data?
The reason we receive the information is that the people have been or will be guests with us and we need the information to be able to keep in touch with our guests.
After the guest has visited us, we retain their information to give them the opportunity to receive offers and – or information from us that we believe may be in their interest to receive.
We do not collect additional information from our guests and the purpose of keeping the information is only to be able to keep in touch with them and share our offers with them.
We also do not share the data with any third parties.
Guest’s rights
The guest has the right to request to have their data deleted, correct any information and also receive an extract from us about their data that is in our register. In our mailings, there is also always the option to unsubscribe. However, this does not mean that we delete the data by unregistering from our mailings. If the guest/customer wants to request that the data be deleted, this needs to be done in person either by email or telephone to us.
